oneZero makes a donation to FareShare
The $10,000 donation finishes oneZero’s 10-year anniversary celebration
oneZero Financial Systems, a global leader in financial technology development, donated $10,000 to FareShare, the United Kingdom’s longest-running food redistribution charity which helps nearly one million people access food every week.
“We are honored to help FareShare redistribute good food that would otherwise go to waste. They have been a pillar in their community for 25 years,” said Andrew Ralich, CEO of oneZero Financial Systems. He added, “We believe it is important to support the local communities of our global offices.”
“We are so grateful to oneZero,” said Lindsay Boswell, CEO of FareShare. “Their generous donation will enable us to provide over 30,000 much-needed meals for vulnerable people via our network of frontline charities across the UK.”
In addition to financial support, oneZero employees spent time volunteering in FareShare’s warehouse by sorting food and picking up daily orders for charities. This donation is part of oneZero’s larger corporate responsibility initiative of donating $10,000 to 10 charities over a ten-month period to honor a decade of operations.
FareShare is the UK’s largest food redistribution charity, redistributing surplus food from the food industry through a network of 11,000 frontline organisations across the UK. FareShare provides enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people every week. For more information, visit: fareshare.org.uk
