oneZero Celebrates a Decade of Innovation
Why are we celebrating?
The past 10 years have flown by. We’ve kept our heads down, focused on developing enterprise-grade technology to help our clients grow. They have, and during that time, we’ve grown too. What started as a small team of former video game developers has expanded into an international company with over 75 employees around the world. Moments like this, turning 10, remind us that it’s important to look back and reflect on our successes.
What are we celebrating?
Andrew Ralich and Jesse Johnson founded oneZero Financial Systems with a mission to bridge the gap between the foreign exchange market and technology. They analyzed problems from a market perspective to deliver a flexible MetaTrader 4 bridge solution.
oneZero earned a reputation for developing high-performance technology after disrupting the retail foreign exchange industry. We responded to increased demand by establishing a presence in the New York NY4 data center and opening a new office in London.
oneZero’s growth continued with the launch of G3 Advanced Bridging Platform and the acquisition of Capital Markets Access Partners. Our superior technology was recognized by the industry as the Best Connectivity Provider at the 2014 Finance Magnates London Summit.
oneZero built an enterprise-grade technology platform, later named Liquidity Hub, by launching Aggregation Engine and B2B Margin Hub. We established a presence in the London LD4 data center and Hong Kong HK3 data center to support the 100 clients using our platform. We opened support offices in Australia and Cyprus to offer better service to worldwide clients.
oneZero’s popularity exploded with the creation of EcoSystem, a distribution network connecting oneZero’s clients for discounted transaction costs. We partnered with banks, non-banks, B2B brokers and prime of prime brokers to offer multi-asset liquidity to our unique client base of retail brokers, asset managers and hedge funds. We kept up with demand by opening offices in Singapore and Canberra, Australia, and establishing a presence in the Tokyo TY3 data center. Major updates to Liquidity Hub included a full-scale matching engine and access to market and trade data. Our superior technology was once again awarded Best Connectivity Provider at the 2018 London Summit.
oneZero celebrated its ten year anniversary in February 2019. With our eyes ahead, we look forward to using our technical expertise and data capabilities to help clients thrive in our industry’s future.
How are we celebrating?
We are donating $10,000 each to 10 different charities over the next 10 months as part of our interest in giving back to local and global organizations that are serving others. We are also supporting our employees to volunteer for local charities. For more information, check out our news story.
oneZero has selected 10 charities based on their contributions to their communities, supporting education and advancing technology across oneZero’s primary corporate locations in the Cambridge, Massachusetts area of the United States, Cyprus, Australia and the United Kingdom. A new charity will be announced each month, and we will update this page with more information. Check back for more details and photographs!
